LEADS have 248 paid staffs (Part time and Full Time) and consultants and more than 400 volunteers to facilitate the programmes at different levels like State, District, Block and Field. Out of 248 paid staffs 80 are having different professional background or higher education. LEADS also has external dignified resource pool, from different sectors like Media, University, Professional Institutions, CSOs, Individual Activists etc. LEADS TEAM has various expertise on Education, Child Rights, Livelihood programme, Budget tracking in context of Jharkhand, Panchayati Raj Institutions and Gram Sabha, Women Rights / Women Emancipation, Agriculture / Horticulture, Health, CBOs like SHG, Bal Sansad, School Management Committee (SMC), Farmers Clubs, etc. The organization can also facilitate National and International events on different issues.
|A.K. Singh (Director)
After the inception of LIFE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT, Mr. A K Singh hold the position of Director very passionately. Mr. Singh had completed his qualification from Xavier Institute of Social Study, in PGDRD from Ranchi in 1994 and by then he is in to the field of social sector. He is holding the expertise in various thematic concerns such as Right To Education Act, Right To Information, Livelihood, Women Empowerment, State Budget Planning and other social issues. Contribution of Mr. Singh has been phenomenal in the State planning on implementation of RTE Act 2009, he is the Convener of Jharkhand Right To Education Forum (JRTEF) in Jharkhand, he is the National convener of Wada Na Todo Abhiyaan (WNTA) and had contributed immensely in this field.
|Nirjharini Rath (Sr. Manager, HR; Manager of Advocacy & Research)
With an experience of 16 years in this sector Ms. Nirjharini Rath hold the position of Sr. Manager in Human Resource & Advocacy at State level in LEADS from 2013. She had completed her LLB and Masters in Human Resource from Bhubneshwar.
|Mahendra Kumar (Sr. Program Manager, Program)
Mr. Mahendra Kumar is working in LEADS from its inception. He had completed his PGDRD from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi in 1994. He is having a prior experience of more than 20 years in the sector. Mr. Kumar possess knowledge in key areas of management, from setting and implementing strategies to marketing and fundraising. His core focused area is to lead a success implementation, meeting timelines and budget requirements for the implementation of program. Addition to that Mr. Kumar coordinates and prioritizes project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans and communicates status to clients, project sponsors and senior management.
|Ajay Kumar Sinha (Project Coordinator)
Mr. Ajay Kumar Sinha has been working in LEADS from 2014. He has completed his Masters in Arts and Masters in Rural Development from IGNOU. He has more than 15 years of work experience in the field of Education, Livelihood, Women Empowerment, SHGs and Health. At present he is working as a Project Coordinator in Cluster Facilitation Team (CFT) and handling a human resource of more than 35 project staffs. Mr. Sinha is responsible in overall process under MGNREGA starting from selection of plan to its implementation covering three blocks of West Sighbhum, Latehar & Khunti. He is closely woking with line departments at Block, District and State level.
|Amit Bara (Project Coordinator)
Mr. Amit Bara is working with LEADS from past the two and half years. He has completed his MARD from Ranchi University. He has interest in experience in working with people at grass-root level on issues like Livelihood, Health, Gender issues, etc. Currently Mr. Amit Bara is designated as Project Coordinator of Rural Empowerment for Entitlement Realisation (REER). The project aims at developing model villages in 5 Districts on holistic development of marginalised group with better advocacy inputs in the State. The programme constitutes an integrated approach to all issues prevalent in the community and aims at linking the community i.e. the SMC members, Gram Sabha members, SHG members, etc. with the Government schemes through different motivating and awareness generation activities.
|Ashutosh Jaiswal (Project Coordinator)
Mr. Ashutosh Jaiswal is working in LEADS from 2013. He had completed his Post Graduation from Utkal University, Orrisa. Mr. Jaiswal with its extensive coordination in the field of social development has experience of around 10 years. He has worked in the areas of Health & Nutrition, RTE Act 2009, Reasearch, Child Counselling and School Development Plan. At present he is working in LEADS as a Project Coordinator and is responsible for strengthening the School Management Committee, formulatuion of School Development Plan, Orientation cum training of stakeholders at different level like Block, District & State. His area of intervention is in government schools of Bandgaon Block of West Singhbhum District.
|Bajrangbali Rai (Project Coordinator)
Mr. Bajrangbali Rai is looking after a Skill Development program from past 6 months in LEADS. His core competency lies in handling hardware related work, computer skills and mobilizing rural community.
|Nisha Tripathy (Project Coordinator)
Ms. Nisha Tripathy is working in LEADS from 2013. She had experience of more than 10 years in the sector and her core competency lies in RTE Act 2009, Health & Nutrition, Human Rights, Gender Equality, Food Security, Livelihood. Currently Ms. Tripathy is designated as a Project Coordinator and handling a project which is focudes on implementation of RTe Act 2009, gender gaps, violence againts women on gender basis in targeted villges of Khunti district in Jharkhand. Additionaly Ms. Tripathy is also assisting in coordinating with LEADS networks alliance and key stakeholders for advocacy and State level meetings. She is actively involved in planning phase of School Development Plan with JRTEF in Jharkhand and work closely with other CSOs.
|Ranjit Bhengra (Project Coordinator)
Mr. Ranjit Bhengra has been part of the LEADS family from the last 4 years. He has completed his MARD from IGNOU and TTC from St. Colombus, Delhi. He has more than 9 years experience in working in the field of Education, Livelihood, SHGs and Sanitation. At present he is working as a NRM Specialist & Project Coordinator with LEADS and he is responsible for promoting sustainable livelihood sources for the SGHs through Micro Credit Livelihood Plan, Financial Linkages, Natural Farming and Live Stock Rearing, etc. and ‘MGNREGA-NRLM Convergence CFT Strategy’ programme.
|Samish Kumar (Project Coordinator)
Mr. Samish Kumar is working in LEADS from last one year. He holds an Masters degree in Business Management and also completed his MARD from IGNOU. He is looking after a project primarly focused on ensuring proper facility of Water, Sanitation & Hygien in targeted schools of Ramgarh District. His prior experience is more than 6 years in this sector and his core competency lies in WASH, RTE Act 2009 and Retail Marketing.
|Shweta Verma (Project Coordinator)
Ms. Shweta Verma is working in LEADS from past one year. She has completed her Mass Comm from Ranchi Unversity and was the gold medalist. She is pursuing her MARD from IGNOU, Ranchi. Her core competency lies in Public Speaking, Team Building and MIS. She had closely worked with media houses and was guest lecturer in Ranchi University. Currently Ms. Verma, designated as a Project Coordinator is handling a project of Skill Development of unemployed youths and train them on various trades including retail, beautician, electronis, fabrication, automobile and streamline them with the demand of market by getting them a income generating activities.
|Solanki Roy (Project Coordinator)
Ms. Solanki Roy has more than 4 years of experience in the development sector with National and International organizations. She has worked extensively in the field of Child Development, Education and WASH while working with State IAG West Bengal, Children International – SAHAY and Water For People. She has completed her MSW from BU in West Bengal. She has been part of the LEADS family from the past 11 months and is working as a Project Coordinator where she is responsible for study, research and advocacy regarding budget focusing on Tribal Sub Plan, Gender Budgeting, MGNREGA, Education and Health.
|Vikash Singh (Project Coordinator)
Mr. Vikash Singh has more than 3 years experience in the relevant field of Water, Sanitation and Hygine, Right to Education and Right to Information. He has completed his PGDRD from Xavier Institute of Social Service. He has been with LEADS since 2 years and is working as a Project Coordinator of a ‘Good Governance’ project focused on Improving quality, coverage and access to information regarding pubic services in education, health & nutrition and rural employment in Torpa block of Khunti District in Jharkhand.
|Vinay Kunwar (Project Coordinator)
Mr. Vinay Kunwar is working with LEADS from past one year. He is looking after a program which is primarily focused on the upliftment of Ultra-Poor in two Districts of Jharkhand. i.e. Ramgarh and Hazaribag. He is having more than 10 year of experience and his core competency lies in public speaking, community mobilization, using PRA tools, team building and belief in working hard.
|Bhawanand Jha (Finance Manager)
Mr. Bhawanand Jha is working in LEADS from 2013 as Finance Manager. He has completed his Masters in Commerce and also pursued his LLB from Ranchi University. Mr. Jha is having more than 15 years of experience in the sector as a finance personal. Currently he is looking after the portion of Funds Management, Budgeting, Financial Analysis, Audit and share it to board of trustees and the project implementing team on a regular interval.
|Rakesh Kumar Choudhary (Finance Officer)
Mr. Rakesh Kumar Choudhary is working in LEADS from 2009. He has more than 8 years of experience in accounting & finance. He has completed his MBA from Sikkim Manipal University. Currently he is looking after accounts related work like as; making payments and receipts as necessary for the business and recording them in accounting software (Tally) in a timely manner, ensure outlined procedures in the Finance Policy are adhered to while making any payments (or) receiving funds, make necessary journal entries as appropriate for proper accounting as per standard procedures, manages bank accounts and ensure necessary documents are maintained for any transactions that are accounted in the software.
